Action fans got a buffet of bullet ballet earlier this year with the release of "John Wick: Chapter 4." If you were worried that was the end of the world of sharp-dressed assassins, there's a little more to the story. Peacock is expanding the "John Wick" universe this fall with "The Continental: From The World of John Wick."
What is 'The Continental' about?
Set in 1970s New York City, "The Continental" tells the backstory of the infamous hotel that John Wick frequented throughout his adventures. Though Mr. Wick is nowhere to be found this time, we'll follow a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell) who was played in the movies by Ian McShane ("Deadwood") and kept the contract killer madness under control at the hotel. "The Continental" will show how young Winston was roped into running the swanky killer HQ and what was going on in the seedy underbelly of the New York assassin game.
Where can you stream 'The Continental'?
"The Continental: From The World of John Wick" will be streaming exclusively on Peacock this September.

While Peacock has yet to announce an official premiere date, reports from San Diego Comic-Con say part one of "The Continental" will start on Friday, September 22. Part two is slated for Friday, September 29 and part three will close things out on Friday, October 6.
Who stars in 'The Continental'?
The show is led by Colin Woodell ("The Flight Attendant") and also features Nhung Kate ("The Housemaid"), Ben Robson ("Animal Kingdom"), Katie McGrath ("Supergirl") and Academy Award-winner Mel Gibson ("Braveheart").
Will John Wick be in 'The Continental'?
While Mr. Wick paid many visits to the Continental in the movies, there hasn't been any confirmation that Keanu Reeves will appear in the series. "John Wick" fans will have plenty to look forward to though, with a setup for a potential "John Wick 5" in the works and a spinoff movie called "Ballerina" starring Ana de Armas set for a June 2024 release date.
