Kate Middleton served looks of love and joy with Princess Charlotte on a family day out at Wimbledon amid her cancer treatment.
The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she made a rare appearance July 14 at the tennis tournament in London to watch the men's singles final with her and Prince William's daughter, and her sister, Pippa Middleton.
"Great to be back at @Wimbledon!" Kate said on Instagram. "There’s nothing quite like The Championships."
The 42-year-old looked radiant in a short-sleeve purple, A-line Safiyaa crepe midi dress with a twisted bodice, paired with nude pumps. Charlotte sported a navy chiffon, polka dot-patterned, ruffled sleeve Guess dress and white flats, while Pippa arrived in a pink and white floral Beulah London midi dress.
Spain's Carlos Alcaraz beat Serbia's Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4) to secure a second straight Wimbledon title. Kate presented the winner with his trophy.
"Congratulations @carlitosalcarazz on your remarkable victory," she said on Instagram. "Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make @Wimbledon the spectacle that it is."
Kate had last appeared in public—along with William, Charlotte, sons Prince George, almost 11, and Prince Louis, 6, and King Charles III and Queen Camilla, at the monarch's Trooping the Colour birthday parade in London in June.
The event marked her first official appearance since last Christmas and took place less than three months after she revealed in a video that she was undergoing cancer treatment.
"I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days," Kate said in a statement on Instagram in June, adding, "My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months."
The princess also said that while she hoped "to join a few public engagements over the summer," she knew she was "not out of the woods yet."
"I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty," she wrote. 'Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal."
